Lots of people carry around a dizzying array of gizmos right now: a smartphone for chatting and text, a Kindle or other e-reader for digital books, a tablet for, well, still other things. The Mega is designed to replace all of those, with a screen large enough to read on that’s somehow still a cell phone.
This phone will most likely stand out and would probably give iPhone a run for its money. The samsung galaxy S8 S II is run on a dual-core 1.2GHz processor. It has 1GB RAM and a built-in storage of 16 GB. The samsung galaxy S8 S II flaunts a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED display which is probably the best display on any device to date. It has an 8-megapixel rear facing camera and a 1.3-megapixel front facing one. Though its design is reminiscent of the ever popular iPhone 4, its amazing specifications could spell the difference.
Fade to what looks like a black obelisk emblazoned with a Motorola logo. A bee buzzes into view, implying that the Motorola tablet will carry Honeycomb. In fact, Google’s Andy Rubin demo’ed Honeycomb back at D: Dive Into Mobile, on a Motorola tablet.
From here, the process changes from phone-to-phone. On Motorola phones, open your email client, press the “settings” button on the lower left side of the phone, and choose “Compose” from the menu. Address your email, put in the subject, write a few introductory lines, and then press the “setting” button again. Choose “attach” from the menu. This will pop up another menu with two options; “Phone files,” or “Shared folders.” Choose “Phone files.” Scroll down to the bottom of the screen, and you should see your resume. Simply double tap your resume, and it will be attached to your email. After that, you should be finished. Just press the “Send” key.
As with the Vortex we reviewed yesterday, Quick Office is replaced by Think Free, a similar suite of mobile office apps. Google’s navigation system is likewise not included with the Fascinate, though VZ Navigator, the fee based nav system from VZW is included. If you would prefer to run the free Google nav system, you still can. Refer to our November 22 article for instructions on downloading and installing Google’s nav system.
On Demand Surround Recording – This spy feature will enable you to remotely record all conversations in the surrounding of the Galaxy Tab. You simply send a secret SMS, which will then activate the Galaxy Tab spy app, which will then trigger the recording to start.
Quickly connect three or more faces by swiping your finger across a chain of matching animals. The longer the chain, the more points you earn. Connect only neighboring animals in rows, zigzags, or circles. Once you connect them, they disappear and new animals drop onto the board.
